Master Painting & Decorating (MPD) is a family owned and operated LBE that serves San Francisco businesses, projects
and residents. Ashley Rhodes, CEO & President, is a Hunters point/Bayview native who stands by his community driven approach; growing clientele by delivering excellent work, and building long-term relationships. As experts in commercial and residential painting & decorating, the MPD team is dedicated to offering clients the highest quality work.

Our Team
Ashley Rhodes l CEO & PRESIDENT

Ashley Rhodes is a San Francisco native that started his 
career as a Painting Contractor in 2000 as a partner at
Evans & Rhodes Painting & Decorating. Ashley led many diverse projects to completion, including the Municipal Railway Maintenance Facility Building in 2003 and the Willie Mays Boys & Girls Club in 2006. From 2008-2011, he worked as a sole proprietor on numerous projects including the Northridge Development Project and SF General Hospital. After years of delivering high-quality painting services to the San Francisco community, Ashley established Master Painting & Decorating in 2012. In his capacity as CEO & President, Ashley works closely with each client to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Master Rhodes l COO

Master Rhodes brings over 10 years of Project Management & Quality Control experience to Master Painting & Decorating. He began as an apprentice painter for the SFPUC, where he worked on the Water System Improvement Project (WSIP). After moving on from the SFPUC, Master became a junior contract compliance officer for the SFMTA, where he ensured contractors were complying with all workforce regulations. As COO, of Master Painting & Decorating, Master oversees all field operations, safety compliance and quality control efforts for projects. He serves as a direct resource for employees, always keeping job site safety as a first priority, morale high and quality output consistent.
